Dr. Daniel Brown, Dr. Matthew Chandler and their staff are committed to providing compassionate, quality, state of the art ocular care for your pet. We are a veterinary practice specializing in ophthalmology. Your Veterinarian will refer you to us whenever the Veterinarian knows your pet would likely benefit from evaluation and treatment by a specialist. Referring a case clearly demonstrates that your Veterinarian places quality patient care above all else.

During your initial comprehensive exam at Animal Eye Clinic, our doctors will fully discuss with you the diagnosis and treatment of your pet's eye condition. Our goal is to not only provide the highest quality medical and surgical services possible, but also educate you regarding your pet's eye disease. If you fully understand what is wrong with the eye(s), why the eye(s) has this problem and what your treatment options are, you will be able to make the best informed treatment decision on how to help your pet.

All information regarding your pet's consultation at the Animal Eye Clinic will be sent to your regular veterinarian. We will continually update the referring veterinarian as your pet's treatment progresses.

Dr. Daniel Brown and Dr. Matthew Chandler are Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. To become a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist and a member of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists, a candidate must have:

- Recieved a degree in veterinary medicine from a college accredited by the American Veterinary
Medical Association (this requires a total of 8 years of college)

- Completed one or more years in advanced training in general medicine and surgery

- Completed a 2 to 3 year residency in Comparative Ophthalmology at an approved College of
Veterinary Medicine

- Successfully completed a rigorous 3 day certifying examination that included testing of diagnostic
and surgery skills
